Post-Secondary Program
The Post-Secondary Program provided middle and high school students the opportunity to increase their understanding of current energy efficiency and renewable energy (EERE) academic and continuing education opportunities available at Michigan colleges and universities, and prospects for careers in Michigan’s green economy.
Energy Works Michigan partnered with Michigan community colleges and universities that offer established academic and continuing education programs in EERE, to enhance their K-12 outreach at Michigan K-12 schools.
The Post-Secondary Program provided colleges and universities the opportunity to foster relationships with middle and high schools participating in the Michigan Renewable Schools Program statewide, and improve their ability to communicate EERE technical training resources to Michigan’s future energy workforce.
