Energy Efficiency Program

2009-2011

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The EE Program provides technical assistance to Michigan public, private and charter K-12 schools to develop a detailed plan for energy efficiency upgrades at individual school buildings. Energy Works Michigan partners with Michigan architecture and engineering firms to conduct a comprehensive energy audit, or Technical Energy Analysis (TEA) of each school facility selected for participation in the EE Program. Energy Works Michigan will assist the school in prioritizing recommended improvements outlined in the TEA report. The EE program is a component of the Michigan Renewable Schools Program and is funded by the Michigan Public Service Commission.
