Energy Works Michigan will coordinate the installations of small-scale educational Solar PV and/or Wind systems at 23 Michigan K-12 schools.

Solar PV and Wind systems are intended to demonstrate energy technologies, raise public awareness, and educate the next generation.

This is a unique educational opportunity involving post-secondary students raising awareness and providing guidance to high school students about pursuing
green careers in Michigan.
Faculty and students from
post-secondary institutions will provide in-classroom, mobile classroom and/or auditorium presentations at high schools participating in the Michigan Renewable Schools Program.
High school students will be encouraged to seek energy efficiency and renewable energy training opportunities available in their region.

Lesson plans will be aligned with Michigan state standards, designed with a Michigan focus, and are free to download from this website.
